(Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Business) As six operating companies came together under the DePuy brand, the franchise needed to build employee awareness of the need to change, align employee priorities and actions with franchise-wide business goals worldwide and shape internal communications strategy. We conducted internal cultural research, built a strong internal communications presence, developed the franchise-wide intranet DePuy Today with emphasis on franchise-wide news and information with customized operating company news for each operating group. This created a unified global presence among employees, enhanced the understanding of the global franchise, and provided significant cultural change providing the foundation for market leadership for the future.
