Wal-Mart Canada needed to attract and retain employees during its aggressive growth initiative, and simultaneously improve individual and store performance. After extensive internal brand research, we created a strategic internal re-branding and communications program titled “Make the Difference.” The program featured a comprehensive plan, core briefing documents, a brand ambassadors program, supervisor training, a “Day One” launch event, videos, collateral, intranet, recruitment advertising campaign and business measuring systems.

The program has helped Wal-Mart Canada achieve its recruitment goals, improve individual store profitability through the active engagement of its employees, and solidify Wal-Mart Canada’s ranking as one of the top 50 “Best Employers” in Canada.
